Wild Collection
The purpose of wild collection should be sustainable. Sustainability efforts must not harm the environment. The areas must be clean and unpolluted. Proper documentation and traceability of the product must be ensured.
To ensure sustainability, the over-harvesting of species must be prevented. Species listed on the red list and those threatened must not be collected. Damage to plants should be minimized. There must be detailed collection rules set by the responsible organization, and these rules should be verifiable on-site.
During collection, other entities' areas should not be damaged, and their food sources should not be destroyed. Collectors should not leave litter and should avoid actions that could cause forest fires or illegal hunting.
A detailed map of the collection area should be created, with collection areas, purchase points, and critical areas marked based on GPS data.
Records of stored, sold, and transported quantities must be maintained.
