Beekeeping
Bees are crucial for ecological balance as they spread pollen over plants.
Hives should be placed so that the plants providing nectar and pollen for the bee colonies are within a specific radius, and these plants should be either organically grown or from cultures or wild plants that do not endanger the organic quality of the beekeeping products.
Feeding a bee colony should involve providing organic honey from an organic beekeeping unit, organic sugar, or organic syrup if it is a vital necessity. All activities related to the bee colony, such as honey extraction, feeding, and managing conditions like varroa mites, must be documented. Maps of hive locations should be maintained and available for inspection.
Beekeeping products can be marketed as organic if they comply with organic regulations for at least one year.
